Replaced with a state-appointed trustee by the Interior Ministry and arrested as part of another trial, HDP\u2019s Diyarbak\u0131r Metropolitan Co-Mayor Sel\u00e7uk M\u0131zrakl\u0131 has been acquitted of \u201cterror propaganda\u201d.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3rd hearing of the retrial where \u015eebnem Korur-Fincanci, Erol \u00d6ndero\u011flu and Ahmet Nesin face “terrorist propaganda\u201d was held in \u0130stanbul. The court’s decided to wait for Ahmet Nesin’s statement to be taken and to hear witness \u0130nan Kizilkaya who could not attend the hearing because he is in quarantine and adjourned the trial until February. 
The third hearing of the trial where journalist Arahman G\u00f6k faces \u201cmembership in an armed terrorist organization\u201d was held in Diyarbak\u0131r. The court decided that the social media posts in the complaint to be examined and adjourned the trial until January. 
The first hearing of the trial where Birg\u00fcn Newspaper Sports Editor Eren Tutel faces \u201cinsulting a public official\u201d charges was held in Istanbul. Due to the pandemic nobody was allowed into the court room. The court adjourned the trial until February. 
Berkin Elvan\u2019s parents face up to nine years in prison for \u201cinsulting the president\u201d. Parents of the 14-year-old who lost his life during the 2013 protests had said the president was responsible for the killing of their son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has slammed a U.S. bill calling for the designation of the Turkish ultranationalist group Grey Wolves as a terrorist group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An attempt was made to attack HDP deputy co-chair T\u00fclay Hatimo\u011fullar\u0131 at her home in Ankara. Hatimo\u011fullar\u0131 announced that the two people who came to her house were trying to enter, claiming that they were plainclothes police.
21-year old Suat \u015eahin, who stood up to the police who wanted to run him through General Information Gathering System (GBT), was shot by the police in Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turkey’s Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has appointed Ak\u0131n G\u00fcrlek, the judge who presided over high-profile political cases as those of Selahattin Demirta\u015f and Canan Kaftanc\u0131o\u011flu, a \u201cfirst class judge.\u201d
The fifth hearing of the trial where journalist Nurcan Yal\u00e7\u0131n faces \u201cmembership in a terrorist organization\u201d charges was held at Diyarbak\u0131r 9th High Criminal Court. The prosecutor presented his final opinion and demanded imprisonment for Yal\u00e7\u0131n. The family of Deniz Poyraz, the young woman killed in an armed attack on the HDP’s \u0130zmir office on June 17, filed a criminal complaint against the attacker as well as the local police whom they have accused of negligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academics from Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University continues protests against the appointment of a rector by President Erdo\u011fan for 178 days.

Journalist S\u00fcleyman Gen\u00e7el was detained at home in \u0130zmir province. While the reason for Gen\u00e7el’s detention is not clear, he has been referred to the prosecutor’s office of cyber crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hearing of the trial where the proprietor of since-shuttered Azadiya Welat newspaper Ramazan \u00d6l\u00e7en faces \u201cmembership in a terrorist organization\u201d charges was held at Diyarbak\u0131r 11th High Criminal Court. The court decided to wait for the letter written to the Ministry of Justice for the statement of Ramazan \u00d6l\u00e7en, who lives in Belgium, to be taken by rogatory. Trial adjourned until February.
The tenth hearing of the trial where exiled musician Ferhat Tun\u00e7 faces \u201cinciting the public to hatred and enmity\u201d charges was held in \u0130stanbul. The court decided to continue the arrest warrant. Trial adjourned until February. 
Five students detained before the alternative graduation ceremony at the Middle East Technical University because they refused to show their banners and student IDs to the police were released. 
According to the Health Minister over 68 percent of adult population is fully vaccinated.

The second session of the 4th hearing of the Koban\u00ea Case was held at the Sincan Prison Campus. The trial has been adjourned because the judge is in quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4th hearing of the retrial of 38 people including HDP Co-Vice President and Van MP Tayip Temel and HDP Mardin MP Pero D\u00fcndar was held in Diyarbak\u0131r. The travel ban on Temel was lifted. Trial adjourned until December. 
In the retrial over the Vartinis Massacre where nine people, including seven children, were burned to death in 1993, the K\u0131r\u0131kkale 1st Heavy Penal Court has ruled that B\u00fclent Karao\u011flu, the then Hask\u00f6y Gendarmerie Commander and the only defendant of the case, shall be arrested. 
The fifth hearing of the trial where Mesopotamia News Agency reporter Sad\u0131k Topalo\u011flu and journalist Sadiye Eser face \u201cmembership in a terrorist organization\u201d charges was held in \u0130stanbul. Trial adjourned until November.
The 7th hearing of the trial where author Meral \u015eim\u015fek faces \u201cmembership in a terrorist organization\u201d charges was held in Malatya. The court decided to replace the expert witness as the expert witness report was not submitted to the court on time. The court ruled the continuation of judicial control measures and adjourned the trial until October. 
Vice Minister of Health Ayd\u0131n has filed a lawsuit for damages against Evrensel, BirG\u00fcn and Cumhuriyet newspapers, which reported on CHP MP Emir\u2019s Parliamentary question regarding the allegations about a company, among the shareholders of which were Ayd\u0131n\u2019s spouse and son. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 7th hearing of the trial where journalist Durket S\u00fcren faces \u201caiding and abetting a terrorist organization\u201d and \u201cterrorist propaganda\u201d charges was held in Diyarbak\u0131r. The Court decided to wait for the report by the Diyarbak\u0131r Police and adjourned the trial until December.

The court has rejected the prosecutor\u2019s request for arresting Musa O., who is on trial for \u201csexually assaulting\u201d \u0130pek Er and driving her to suicide in Batman. 
After former PM Ahmet Davuto\u011flu said that Diyarbak\u0131r Bar Association Chair Tahir El\u00e7i \u201chad fallen victim to a political assassination\u201d, the lawyers of the El\u00e7i family have demanded that Davuto\u011flu be heard as a witness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Human Rights Association’s Adana branch chair Yakup Ata\u015f is facing an investigation over a statement he released on Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day. Prosecutors are accusing him of \u201cinstigating hatred and hostility among the public.\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The court ordered to continue detention of Contemporary Lawyers Association Chair lawyer Sel\u00e7uk Koza\u011fa\u00e7l\u0131 and lawyer Barkin Timtik. 
The 15th hearing of the trial where 27 defendants including journalist Me\u015fale Tolu face \u201cmembership in a terrorist organization\u201d charges was held in Istanbul. The prosecution asks for the acquittal of 13 people including Me\u015fale Tolu. Trial adjourned until December. 
The final hearing in the case where 17 defendants face ‘membership in a terrorist organization’ in connection with the ‘KCK operations’ in Ayd\u0131n in 2011, was held today. 8 people were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison, while 7 were acquitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imprisoned for 25 years, 83-year-old seriously ill prisoner Mehmet Emin \u00d6zkan was not released at his hearing. Trial adjourned until December. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bank accounts of the HDP\u2019s Patnos Municipality in A\u011fr\u0131 have been freezed due to millions of liras of debt incurred during the AKP term. 
Examining their appeal against the penalty given by the prison administration for singing in Kurdish, the judgeship has rejected the requests of politicians G\u00fcven and Al\u00f6kmen for making their defense in Kurdish.

In a joint statement, 78 bar associations demand the suspension of the presiding judge and the police who took Diyarbak\u0131r Bar Chair and lawyers out of the courtroom by force at the hearing of Ay\u015fe G\u00f6kkan on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After their son was killed during clashes with security forces, the Da\u011fhan family applied to the Constitutional Court, alleging that the body was burned after the autopsy. The court has rejected the application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 11th hearing of the trial where 22 defendants, including ETHA reporter Adil Demirci face \u201cmembership in a terrorist organization\u201d charges resumed in \u0130stanbul. The court ruled to continue judicial control measures and adjourned the trial until April 2022. 
An investigation was launched against 13 people who sang a Kurdish song and dance the halay in Batman for allegedly ‘propagandizing a terrorist organization.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ECtHR ruled that Turkey had violated the rights of Tuncer Bak\u0131rhan, former Co-Mayor of Siirt and HDP deputy co-chair who was replaced by an Ankara appointed trustee.

Mardin\u2019s  Ankara appointed \u201ctrustee mayor\u201d is being investigated for corruption in hundreds of millions lira worth of public tenders. 
An investigation has been launched against journalist Faruk Arhan on the grounds of “inciting the public to hatred and enmity”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 11th hearing of the trial where exiled artist Ferhat Tun\u00e7 faces \u201cinsulting the president\u201d charges was held in \u0130stanbul. Tun\u00e7 and his lawyers didn’t attend the hearing. Trial adjourned until January. 
In a Parliamentary question, HDP\u2019s Kerestecio\u011flu has asked the reason for not carrying out an effective investigation into the fate and whereabouts of the people who have disappeared in Turkey in the last few years.

Shortly after the \u0130stanbul Forensic Medicine Institution issued a report concluding that HDP former MP Aysel Tu\u011fluk “could stay in prison” despite severe illness, her lawyers have submitted an objection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
