It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 20th International Conference on the EU, Turkey and the Kurds, organised by the EU Turkey Civic Commission (EUTCC) in cooperation with The Left Group, the Greens/European Free Alliance, and the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament.
Marking two decades of dialogue, engagement, and advocacy, this anniversary conference will take place on 15 October 2026 at the European Parliament in Brussels. On the evening of 14 October 2026, we will host a special reception to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the conference series.
Over the past twenty years, the EUTCC’s annual conferences have become an important forum for discussion on the Kurdish question, democracy, human rights, and prospects for peace in Turkey and the wider region. Bringing together academics, policy-makers, parliamentarians, civil society organisations, activists, and representatives of Kurdish and Turkish communities, these conferences have attracted significant political and media attention across Europe and beyond.
